The
TEAC
P-55 Photo Ribbon Set includes 1
photo ribbon and 1 transfer ribbon. The set will yield 500 full color,
full coverage prints on CD or DVD.
The Photo Ribbon Set is designed for higher resolution printing than the
color ribbon. The
TEAC
P-55 uses a 4 panel CMYK photo ribbon which
contains Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. This is a true 4 color
process. The black panel adds depth to dark colors. The photo
ribbon is best used for printing high resolution images like photography,
because it produces a continuous tone print. The photo ribbon uses a
dye-sublimation process that converts the ink into gas before it is
applied to the surface of the disc, yielding a resolution is 290 LPI.
