DVD-R & DVD-RW Media

Months of research and design have yielded the latest advancements in recording media:  DVD-R & DVD-RW.
Specs!  Conforms to DVD Specifications for Recordable Disc Ver. 1.9 & Ver. 2.0 (DVD-R).  Utilizes a high-quality organic dye recording layer to improve fine wavelength recording, which provides for reliable playability and recordability.  The manufacturing process of DVD-R utilizes a precise substrate molding along with improved disc bonding technologies, which effectively controls disc warble, which in turn creates outstanding reliability.  DVD-R has a storage capacity 7 times larger than a CD-R, and is compatible on most DVD players and ROM drives.  Projected life span is 100+ years!
Important Compatibility Note:  Currently, there are several different DVD recording formats.  Please be sure of the format that your recorder requires before purchasing.
These DVD-R and DVD-RW Media are for 'general use' recording only.  NOT compatible with 'authoring use' recorders (such as the Pioneer DVR-S201).  NOT compatible with recorders which require DVD+R/W media solely!  And, not compatible for recording with recorders which require DVD-RAM media solely!  What's the difference between 'general use' and 'authoring use'?  Click here for the answer (from Pioneer, in .pdf format).  What is meant by 'high-grade', 'pro-grade' and 'archival-grade'?  Click here.
