Everyday handling of CD's and DVD's can leave fingerprints and dirt on discs, resulting in skips and sound distortion.  Gently wipe the CD/DVD with a CD Cleaning Cloth in an outward motion from the center to the outer edge.  Never wipe discs in a circular fashion.
